 Jodie

Jodie has a distinct passion for her role as a Trainer and thrives on helping people realise their true potential. She takes a “never give up” approach and aims to inspire and motivate clients through her dedication and commitment to her position.

Jodie is not just a Personal Trainer. Winning State, National and World titles in BMX and is the current 500m Australian Indoor Rowing record holder in her age/weight category, Jodie has developed a broad knowledge of fitness training and is a passionate and active sports participant. Her love and desire for all things fitness related instils passion and drive.

Adam

Adam’s been active in sports and fitness throughout his life. Growing up in Lilydale he played both Basketball and Australian Rules during his high school years. After high school, Adam pursued his love for strength training, going on to compete successfully on stage in the INBA Natural Body Building Competition.

Adam moved to Warragul in 2012 and began training at Superfit. It was during this time that he developed a love for functional training and began broadening his horizons in the fitness arena. In 2013, he attained his Concept 2 Indoor Rowing Certification and went on to not only successfully compete at the Australian Masters Games, but also head a team of athletes under the Rowforce Banner.

His greatest achievement was taking out the prestigious 2km row event and obtaining a sub 3 minute time in the 1km race.

Adam began CrossFit in 2013 and went on to complete his Australian Weightlifting Sports Power Coaches Course in 2015 under the direction of Olympian Leo Isaac. With an array of CrossFit competitions now under his belt, Adam recently attained his CFL1 Trainer Certification.

Adam’s qualifications include:

Dusty

Dusty has a passion for living life to the full as his best self! It’s this passion that has driven him towards his love for exercise.

Dusty is addicted to the energy that comes from exercise, and the ability it gives you to push yourself to the limit! Dusty first discovered his love for fitness by combining it with his other love… the outdoors. He fell in love with trail running at age 13 competing state cross-country and then moved into boxing whilst at university competing in boxing fights and coaching boxing classes.

In 2013- 2015 Dusty spent time overseas, in the Summers hiking through multiple national parks in Northern & Southern Americas and in the Winters snowboarding some of Canada’s scariest slopes. He then worked as a wilderness guide leading youth on 3-6 day canoe camping trips through bear-ridden Canadian National Parks (!).

Whilst working as a Manager for Goodlife Health Clubs Dusty was encouraged to participate in a national fitness competition and was declared the Goodlife National 2016 Fitter-Faster-Stronger Champion. He won the title again in 2017 and is the only person to ever win it back-to-back. This cemented his love and passion for fitness and started a journey of healthy obsession.

Dusty is a firm believer in a holistic approach of combining fitness with good nutrition, life balance and mental well-being (including mediation and yoga).

After moving to Drouin, Dusty discovered CrossFit at CrossFit Warragul 3820 and hasn’t looked back. He loves every component of discovery and challenge. He’s eager to share his passion and knowledge with anyone that is keen.

Dusty can be seen at the gym full of energy, having a good time, smiling and laughing – even during the hardest of workouts!

CrossFit Level One Trainer

 



Liam

Liam has a passionate for fitness but found his calling in functional training, especially CrossFit. Liam was a natural in the water and when he was  younger he swam competitively, winning multiple squad level competitions.

Liam comes from a weight loss background. He was the overweight kid who turned everything around – getting his first gym membership at age 15 and losing 30KG’s through hard work and a complete change of diet. From that point on Liam grew a love and appreciation for the effectiveness of strength training, coupled with an understanding of nutrition and the importance and impact it has, not only on training but on a day to day healthy lifestyle.

In 2017 Liam wanted to further his knowledge and skills and completed the CrossFit Level 1 course and obtained his CF-L1. His main goal is helping people move better and be the fittest and best possible versions of themselves. He aims to help anybody, at any level, find their perceived limits and push themselves to their maximum potential.

Liam’s qualifications include:

Sasha

Sasha grew up just outside of Warragul in the town of Ferndale. She grew up with a healthy love of sport, playing basketball to the age of 17 and using her height to great advantage! After high school Sasha swapped basketballs for barista training and learned the fine art of coffee-making before retuning to her one try love – sport.

In 2010 Sasha studied for her cert. 3 and 4 in fitness and in 2013 she started her studies into Food and Nutrition Sciences at Deakin University. Sasha says ‘the body, and what it is capable of has always amazed me‘.

Running has played a large role in Sasha’s life and she’s participated in many fun runs and FOUR half marathons! As soon as she discovered Superfit though running started to take a back seat and now she focuses on functional, weight training to keep fit and strong.

Outside of the gym Sasha loves nothing more than getting back to nature in the great outdoors. She loves camping n the bush (her ‘happy place’) and reliving her youth playing around on dirt bikes.

Keera

Throughout her life Keera has always been interested in health and fitness. It was only after Keera finished high school that she really fell in love with training, and in particular CrossFit. So much so, that in Feburary 2018 she completed her CrossFit Level One.  She is currently studying her Certificate 3 and 4 in Personal Training with the Australian Fitness Academy.

Keera is looking forward to completing her CrossFit Kids in the New Year and co-owning the business in 2019 with her mum, Jodie.
